Mission Statement:

Tri-Force is a collaboration of Akbayan Pilipino-American Organization at San Jose State University, Pilipino American Collegiate Endeavor (PACE) at San Francisco State University, and Pilipino American Student Association of California State University East Bay to encourage the pursuit of academic excellence; to preserve and spread awareness of Pilipino/Pilipino-American culture and history through our active involvement within the Bay Area community.

Akbayan means, “Embracing in Friendship.” They strive to increase their knowledge of the Pilipino/Pilipino-American culture and share the beauty of the heritage. Akbayan started out with a group of Pilipino/Pilipino-American college students from SJSU gaining consciousness about their heritage and culture.

The Pilipino American Student Association (PASA) engages students at California State University East Bay in activities and programs that aid in enriching educational growth, enhancing Pilipino cultural awareness, and providing opportunities for community service and leadership development. PASA builds lifelong camaraderie with its members, providing a solid foundation of support and guidance that will help them succeed throughout and after college.
